A Post Graduate in Financial Management, Barnali worked in the financial sector with some of the most prominent brands. In her earlier working days, she was also a Visiting Faculty Guest Lecturer in several Institutes for teaching Maths to BMS & MMS Students.
Later, she joined UCMAS as the Area Manager, where she got the opportunity to work very closely with school children. During her lectures and interaction with children, she observed that the students had gaps in their understanding of mathematical concepts. She could realize the reason why early learners hated maths. The students had many unresolved doubts and made mistakes, which led to a hatred for the subject.
She gathered almost two decades of experience with math-related problems among young students. Her position helped her gather insights into their learning patterns and difficulties, and document them. And this led to the birth of Magik Maths in 2013, where she decided to develop a program that focuses on improving mathematical concepts, empowering students, and learning maths fun and exciting.
